[:
I have my final exam today on Grammar (again). I've done much better in that class this semester; probably going to get an A. Almost certain of it, really. My Sociology 1101 exam went really well; I'm crossing my fingers for an A in there too.
Brittany is MOVING here (not just visiting!) in 12 days. I'm super excited!!! :D I've been counting down since about twenty or thirty days ago.
Last night I cooked for the first time in almost a year because Reggie, the cook, didn't show up. He was supposedly sick according to his fiancee, but they didn't bother to tell The Grill that until Mike, our manager last night, called to find out. Silliness.
I've been playing this great game my buddy Brian (a coworker) made with his friend; it's called Battlequest, and it revolves around playing battles on a grid with miniatures and dice rolls. It's absolutely awesome; I can't wait to keep playing as the game further evolves (they're trying to continue to perfect it). I got Robby playing it too, so it's what I look forward to the rest of the week now. xD I also might try to create a comic with Brian, since I'd rather just draw than write. We'll see what happens.
Saw Danielle out downtown last night with her man, trying to hail a cab. I wonder what kind of trouble /they/ were getting into! ;D
My room is a mess. After finishing my last final today, I have two small goals to accomplish: clean my damn room/take out the trash in here, and read The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat. by Oliver Sacks. It's Brittany's book, and I like it, but I haven't been reading much of anything at all lately. So, that's my new priority so I can finish it before she gets here. (We traded books; I sent her Ender's Game, and she finished it and sent back her book.) I also want to start boxing up the crap in my room, because although I'm not moving out until in late August, I don't need access to the books on my shelves that I've already read and things like that.
Well, I'm gonna study grammar for three hours now. Bye!~<3
Oh, I almost forgot: here's a song I've finished in the last few weeks. It's about girls. Don't worry, it's not so bad. :P Here you go. I hope you like it!

mood:
happy
I'm just posting a few albums I have great love for right now. I'm having a hard time finding a way to buy polyABC albums, so if anyone figures it out, let me know. I've already emailed the label and the band separately. xD
Guitar - Sunkissed
Shoegazer/dreampop. Really chill stuff; makes me want to relax and take a nap. A /happy/ nap.
SURFING in United States of America - Susa No. 1
Guitar rock. It's a fun lil' EP.
polyABC - Homing Pigeon
I don't know what this is. |: The sounds keep changing from song to song anyway.

WOW. A lot happened in the last few days. And you get to hear it!
Let's see. Saturday, I went out for a few drinks with people from work, and as I was stumbling home, I ran into this fellow:
It's Stumps duh Clown! He had a cute dog with him, and he said he was trying to get back to Louisiana. Naturally, I'm suspicious of /anyone/'s words when they're asking for donations, but then he showed some skill at the guitar. I bought his CD for $5, and it was a really good buy. His tracks are unnamed as far as I know, but Robby and I went through and named them all and submitted them to the CDDB. I'm uploading it to yousendit right now. Anyway, Stumps, though posessing a really unfortunate stage name, is a pretty talented traditional folk musician, and as far as I know, all but two of his ten songs on I Miss My Soul are original. I hope you check it out. Here it is.
I also got kicked out of a class for too many absences. I did this last semester, and the way things are going, I just may be expelled from UGA for subpar performance. We'll see. Nothing to do about it now except wait to hear the bitching from my parents. Oh good.
Also, I scraped some paint off of someone's car in the parking lot of my apartment complex, but I left a note about it, and the guy was really gracious and thankful that I had left a note at all. He's going to find out how much it is to fix; people at work optimistically suggested a few hundred dollars or so, maybe less. I would love that. As long as we don't get insurance involved. :|
Finally, late tonight, I was supposed to play Risk with some guys at work, so I went in with the game and started to talk to them, but one of my coworkers was feeling sick as all get out. So I switched with her like she asked and ended up working until 7 a.m. It was really strenuous, but I am satisfied now with a shake and an egg muffin sandwich thing in my stomach. :) It was worth it, since I have Thursday off this week; it means I'll have the same amount of hours (and therefore pay) as usual.
Okay, that's your update. Take it or leave it.

an "update".

It's been a while since I've last updated. Part of the reason is I'm not sure why this journal is here. Certainly, I use this account to read the pirvate entries of friends I couldn't otherwise access. Livejournal is the only way I speak with some people, so I won't delete this account. I just don't think I'll be updating anytime soon. I just feel weird updating on LJ now; like I'm forcing my crap into people's friends list. I feel like I'm giving too much information or complaining too much, and that's a uncomfortable thing when you're trying to share your personal thoughts. So that's all, I suppose.
